About Hephatus:

The Story Of Our Name:

Hephatus is derived from and a shortened form of the name Hephaestus. He was a Greek god.

“Hephaestus,” in Greek “Ἥφαιστος,” and in English “Hephaestus”:

In Greek mythology, he is the god of blacksmithing, craftsmanship, sculpture, metalworking, volcanoes, and fire. He is the son of the sky god “Zeus” and the queen of the gods “Hera.”

As a master blacksmith and craftsman, “Hephaestus” created extraordinary objects from various materials, especially metal. With the help of the “Cyclopes,” who were also his workers and assistants, he forged “Zeus’s” lightning bolts and royal scepter.

“Hephaestus” crafted countless weapons and armor for gods and heroes. For “Athena,” he made the shield “Aegis,” and for “Eros” or “Cupid,” the god of love, he fashioned arrows. The magnificent fiery chariot of “Helios,” the sun god, which he used to traverse the skies from dawn to dusk, was also created by “Hephaestus.”

Additionally, the invincible armor of “Achilles,” worn during the siege of “Troy,” was his creation. At “Zeus’s” command, “Hephaestus” crafted the first woman on Earth. He shaped her from water and earth, and this woman was named “Pandora.”

We believe that you, as masters of industry and technology, are the gods on Earth to whom humanity is indebted. Just as the god “Hephaestus” provided tools and instruments, we aim to supply you with the means and tools you need. For this reason, we chose the name “Hephatus.”
